NATIONAL BIBLICAL EXHIBITION CENTRE NBEC
The account of Noah’s Ark and the Flood is illustrated on two floors in timber-lined exhibition rooms connected by a staircase.
On the lower “deck” the central exhibit is a large scale model of the ark, showing its probable form of construction.
Exhibits on both decks illustrate the biblical narrative and the evidence remaining today of a passed global flood.
Here the decks are shown empty as displays are currently being developed.
On the lower deck the doorway to the left leads to the glasshouse, so after seeing examples of animals specifically mentioned in the Bible, visitors can then view plants that feature prominently, the olive tree, fig tree and vine. This display extends into the central garden area. Exhibits will also illustrate the processing of papyrus into paper, the extraction of olive oil etc.
The glasshouse links to the Wilderness zone, with its replica Tabernacle.
