All life depends on plants and various categories are mentioned in the Bible: those needed for food, as materials for construction, and for medicinal and ceremonial purposes. A variety of plants are grown in the indoor space and also nearby in the garden.
Plant processing is illustrated, including how papyrus (left) was made into an ancient form of paper, and how olive oil was produced.
